OUR HISTORY
Greater Hartford Global Methodist Church was founded with a desire to build a Christ-centered community where worship, discipleship, and service come together in meaningful ways. Rooted in the Wesleyan tradition and aligned with the Global Methodist movement, our church began as a gathering of believers who longed for authentic fellowship, biblical teaching, and a place where families could grow together in faith. From its earliest days, the church has sought to be more than a Sunday gathering—it has been a family committed to prayer, outreach, and living out the Gospel in everyday life.
Our Vision for Windsor, Hartford, and Beyond
Our vision is to be a church that not only serves Windsor and Hartford but also extends its reach to the surrounding communities and beyond. We believe God has called us to be a light in Greater Hartford—meeting spiritual, physical, and emotional needs through worship, teaching, and acts of service. Whether through vibrant worship, youth and children’s ministries, community partnerships, or missions, our hope is to transform lives with the love of Jesus Christ. Looking ahead, we see Greater Hartford Global Methodist Church as a place where people from all walks of life can experience God’s presence, be equipped to live out their faith, and be sent out to impact the world.
